Pathetic!

This can be approached in several ways:

The plight of the "Black" family & community
"Blacks" and Marriage
"Blacks" in politics
A form of Godliness in "Black" culture

Let's start with the fact that there is a State of the "Black" Union convention period. I marvel that a people group would desire to be equal and treated that way but convene at an event that shows them as separatists. I'm of the opinion that racism in the "Black" culture is just as prevalent as any other people group.

A report came out this very week stating that one out of every 100 people in America is, or has been, incarcerated and the levels of minorities being behind bars (percentage-wise) is extremely high. Well, the state of the union of "Black" families is that it is broken. When the male/father is missing and the single mother has no stigma attached to it, watch-out! The failure to understand that marriage is a sacred union is the beginning of the collapse.

In this political season, it is absolutely pathetic to see "blacks" rally behind a candidate on the basis of color. It is totally hypocritical to criticize whites for prejudice and profiling and then not only vote color but pressure and label other's "uncle tom" who don't whole to your worldview. It will be a sad day when it's revealed that Mr. Obama is not the answer.

Finally, the cause of the horrible state of the "Black" union is a form of Godliness that doesn't acknowledge the power of God (2 Tim 3:5). "Black" Americans claim to be the most "church-going" folk in the nation; this is their downfall.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

"Blacks" have been playing church for so long they need to be convinced that they are lost in order that they may be saved. Note:

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

People are people, we are in this together; the moment that the "blacks" become just humans, in their own minds, they will be in agreement with God and things will improve. Additionally:

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15

When the "Black" community genuinely forgives "the white man" they will be released from the burden of the sin that is unforgiveness. This is a biblical principal that, I would think, is be being preached from the pulpit. Finally, one must be genuinely saved to understand these concepts:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

His righteousness is found in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection unto eternal life.
