Know your Carbon Footprint? Interested or care? Appears to be the latest fad But flags are waving, beware! The entire planet agreeing, Turning completely green, Wouldn't be an awful thing Just missing the unseen. You make a universe and I will sustain it, Provide the needed resources and ensure it remains in orbit. Bringing nothing into this world Taking nothing when we leave, Being a good steward here Is noble and right indeed. But let's not kid ourselves We are not in control, The end is inevitably coming Being ready is all we hold. You can't save the planet You can't save yourself, Turn and be reconciled to God By the gift Christ Jesus left. The unseen footprint Salvation eternally planned, For all repented of personal sin Are secure in the Creator's hand. |
