"On The Wing"

Answers to questions:

"Some Christian denominations don't consider the Bible as being inerrant; are their assumptions wrong?"

Absolutely, they are wrong in their assumptions. Firstly, we all must consider everyone involved when we consider the things of God. First, a Christian is anyone who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, after dying to self and trusting Him as their personal Lord and Savior. Therefore, what are these "denominations" using as a standard to deem the Bible insufficient? What can one use as a substitute to live and die by other than the inspired Word of God? I've found that "common sense" is often given here but when we are honest we know that human wisdom isn't that common. A honest look in the mirror and at the world around us is quite telling of this truth.

If the scripture contains errors; what parts are we to follow? I assume, sarcastically, any of it we choose. Herein lies the reason anyone would desire to find errors in the Bible; it is far easier to find errors in something other than ourselves. The problem is not with the Bible, the problem is with you, and me. Apart for God, His wisdom and ways, we are desperately lost and without hope in the world.

My advice to all is to give up denominations and religion for a personal love relationship with Jesus Christ as He is perfect and cannot lie. Everything He says and does is right and just. The Bible is God's way of revealing himself to us. The Bible is His-Story, it's all about Him. Finally, the Bible is inerrant when trusted and applied to your life and mine. Again, one of the most common mistakes of mankind is the failure to see that the problem is not with God, the problem is with us.
