"On The Wing"
Answers to questions:
"What about UFOs and aliens? When they reveal themselves will
the Bible be obsolete?"
Not at all, consider this: God is an eternal being; as you know eternal means forever. God has been around a
long time therefore, what do you think He was doing prior to our existence, twiddling His thumbs? There very-well
could be other beings out there under His authority. But, this has no bearing on us:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
This is our beginning and the responsibility given us as "the crown of His creation"
for the earth never changes. He entrusted this planet, it's resources, and our very bodies to us and expects us
to use them for His glory. His glory being; for everything that is right, good and just.
Also, true Christians are aliens anyway. We are sojourners, just passing through. While having an abundant life
here, we long for our home in heaven. Therefore, if visitors from another planet come here or, if we discover them somewhere out there it will be moot.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto
salvation. Hebrews 9:27-28
This is an appointment we all will keep and is far more important than extra-terrestrials. My prayer is that you have met God's requirement before you stand before God.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
consider Christ
